Coolaire Air Conditioning Kits - TR-6

Reference is made to the Coolaire Manufacturing Company Inc., letter to all Triumph dealers issued in August 1971, offering a custom designed air conditioner for the TR-6 and stating that the unit had been factory approved.

We would like to emphasize that all testing was carried out on a prototype unit only. This unit did provide a high level of air conditioning performance, and the engine cooling was satisfactory when a Triumph approved engine cooling fan kit comprising of the following Triumph parts was fitted:

We stress the fact that there is no Triumph warranty on the unit or its component parts and no warranty allowance for additional labor time in removing air conditioner components to perform Triumph warranty repairs will be considered. In addition, we would point out that no Triumph system of the vehicle is the air conditioning installation has been made without the Triumph approved cooling fan kit.
