Windscreen Wiper Arm Setting Procedure- TR-6 & Spitfire

To insure compliance with Federal Safety Standards (Std. 104 Windshield
Wiping) on these models, the windshield wiper arms must be correctly set
on the wiper spindles. In the event of wiper arm replacement for any reason,
the following procedure must be carried out:
1. Set wipers in park position and lightly press arms down tords the
base of windscreen.
2. Insert a steel rule between the windscreen and wiper blade in order
to establish the setting distance. All measurements are taken are taken
in the plane of the windscreen surface.

3. If adjustment is necessary to comply with the dimension shown, the
blade should be removed from the splined spindle "A" or "B" (Spitfire)
or "A" (TR-6) and relocated to obtain the correct position.
